Basic Purpose of Position: To provide speech language pathology services to patients.  This includes evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, providing direct speech treatments, discharge planning, and other related duties as required. The speech language pathologist is assigned a patient case load and is supervised by the rehab manager.

Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited speech language pathology

program. Also have a certificate of clinical competency.

Experience Requirements: Six months of similar work preferred, will consider CFY.

Skills, License, Certification and/or Special Training Requirements: Valid, current

Speech Language Pathology license. Certificate of Clinical Competency. Knowledge in

areas of dysphagia management, augmentative communication, aural rehab and

psychometric testing
