Key Responsibilities for Cook:
-Prepare and serve nutritious, appetizing and colorful meals to patients
-Follow a routine cleaning schedule in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards and facility policies
-Ensure all duties performed by other culinary team members are carried out according to cottage policy and state / federal regulation
-Must be able to manage multiple tasks such as preparing room service trays while also serving patients choosing to come out to the dining room


Key Requirements for Cook:
-High School diploma or GED required
-Culinary education / degree is preferred
-One to two years of short order style cooking
-Serve Safe certificate or willing to obtain within one month of hire
-Must understand PAR levels and how to manage inventory
-Excellent customer service skills
