Bachelors Degree Required
The Clinical Nurse Manager coordinates the total nursing care for patients, participates in clinical teaching and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinics. Manages and communicates standards of care to provide best practice clinical pathways to assure 95% heal rates within 16 weeks of care. Provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 464.003 (3) (a): "Practice of professional nursing means the performance of those acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied practices. Oversees staffing, training, and is a liaison with physicians, hospital personnel and hospital departments. Reports to the Director of Wound Care. Is responsible for establishing, Performance Improvement Initiatives, Chart reviews and audits.
