The Recruiter is responsible for performing full life cycle recruiting including candidate sourcing, screening, ATS processing, interviews, offers and background clearance for all positions assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Other duties may be assigned.

  • Recruits qualified licensed and other non- licensed positions assigned. Also, different levels of management as directed. 

  • Screens using behavioral based tools and refers qualified applicants to the hiring manager for consideration.  May provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and background and salary requirements.  Quotes salary rates & other employment benefits in accordance to NCH guidelines.

  • Arrange travel and lodging for applicants, if appropriate.

  • Conducts reference checks/background screening on applicants who are pending offers of employment. Review reports and if discrepancies acquires approval from HR management team. 

  • Obtain current/clear status of a primary source licensure/certification documentation prior to job offer to be placed in applicants file.

  • Obtain interview guides from the hiring manager team prior to offer.

  • Finalizes all on-boarding requirements for pass off to the HR Associate.

  • Follow-up with external and internal applicants by presenting offers, emailing regret letters or regrets via phone call.  Presents all information required for new hire explaining on boarding process moving forward and expectations that must be met in regards to education modules, documentation etc. For transfer explaining the step to transition into their new role. 

  • Collaborates with Hiring managers/Directors to effectively place the ideal candidate in open positons. Regularly rounds to meet with Hiring Manager/Directors to provide to provide HR updates and training.

  • Maintains assigned positions in Position Manager in a timely and accurate manner.  Posts new positions as they are approved and build new positions as required. 

  • Work with all hiring managers to ensure that job posting details are correct and that job descriptions reflect the most current accurate information.

  • Maintain applicant pool in the applicant tracking system to ensure that review and dispositions are provided in a timely manner. As well as, working with the hiring manager to obtain feedback as soon as possible.

  • Completes and submit Transfer hires through Position Manager and calculate appropriate salary using NCH guidelines as set forth.

  • Attend new hire orientations and welcome new hires. Notify appropriate recruiter of any concerns regarding new hires.

  • When needed meet with new hires for the onboarding process to complete new hire paperwork, review orientation details, etc. before they begin employment. 

  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.  Attend local and out of state Job-Fairs as well as with local high school and vocational schools to recruit new grad.

     

  • Coordinates recruitment efforts that may be required from outside travel or contract companies for specific short term needs in specialty areas.  Conduct onboarding and maintain employment status of the outside travel or contract company's employees.

     Maintains knowledge of assigned position within the organization. Maintains knowledge of employment laws, national and local employment trends.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Must have at least 6 months of recruitment related experience, healthcare preferred
