This role provides overall leadership of the bariatric program, which includes effective and efficient use of human and material resources, and professional growth and job satisfaction for department personnel. This position is responsible for overall coordination of the bariatric program including marketing and community outreach, processes related to candidate review and selection, quality improvement, program development, patient education, support and post-operative follow up.
Current RN license or temporary permit in Georgia. Bachelor degree with a major in nursing required. A minimum of five years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting, preferably bariatrics.
